i got trashed by stryderman for suggesting this, but am going to go there again:
oceansize - without doubt one of the tightest bands around even if you dn like their ad trax
otherwise, maybe efterklang or eits?

they're playing The Swan in Ipswich on Thursday night (6th) Tiny pub but consistently getting great bands.
