Yes Roger, in the new area "The Faraway Forest" - more walking for you I'm afraid.  The Royal Opera House will be in this area as well.

The Royal Opera House? Really? Fab-u-lous! Not that I'll get to see it, but still, sounds great to me... even if it means more walking. Ta for the info Annie

I don’t really know Tania much but somehow I’m imagining her name and the words “devilishly decadent” go very nicely together in the same sentence. Anyhoo, its all sounds intriguing, I’m looking forward even more to the Woods now.

I saw Gavin at the launch, he asked if you were going to be there this year.

Gavin? That boy gets everywhere, especially if there's a party involved. Yep I'll be there, and 99% I'll be in the Woods yet again (and I'll try harder not to keep calling them 'my woods'). Last time I heard from Gavin he didn't know if he would be back at Latitude or not this year.

A bit catty, but maybe a good point, and I was slightly thinking that myself. Although technically we’re discussing the management of the Woods, so it has some relevance... ?

I too was smiling while I was posting (and I guessed you were). I’m too nice to be Mr Angry (I can just about manage ‘Mr Grumpy’ sometimes) – and today I have sunshine, the latest Joanna Newsom and a gin & tonic so I’m even more chilled.

And I would never want to be ‘above u’, so I’m not, I’m just a small (freelance) cog in the lovely Latitude wheel.

i didnt want to imply i thought that you guys were above us...if i re-read my post it might be read that way, so am sorry.

No worries at all, no offence taken or meant. I think we must’ve got a bit lost in translation there, easily done on t’internet. I didn’t mean to imply that I inferred that you had implied… etc. etc.

I was actually having the drink inside, looking at the sun through the window, rather than sitting outside in the sun – I’m in Poland, so while it may be sunny its still too chilly to be lounging on the balcony. And the Joanna Newsom I was listening to was her new one ‘Have One On Me’ (which seems to have taken forever to arrive!)

And btw, cheers!... the g ‘n’ t has now been replaced by a glass of red.
