I saw Ray Davies in Cambridge towards the end of last year, and it was absolutely fantastic! This would be an amazing idea for the Sunday noon slot, especially if it turns out to be a 'Sunny Afternoon'...(yes that was a cheap excuse for a pun...)
However, this would be a spectacular idea, perfect mood setter for the rest of the day. In Cambridge he was very light-hearted, played lots of Kinks classics and it was general a brilliant occasion. He would be absolutely perfect for that slot, so great shout splinterbungee! Bookers take note!
