Some old radio show where Stewart Lee and Daniel Kitson talk about stuff. It's quite funny.

It's from 2004 and they're all talking about Belle & Sebastian and Daniel Kitson story shows, it's like the last 6 years never happened.

That sounds like the sort of thing I would like. Have you got a link / can you send me the file?

Bought an NME today, I advise you all not to bother, it's not very good except for a nice interview with Josh Homme and a good bit with Angelos Epithemiou about festival catering which made me lol ("What is a smoothie? Anything can be a smoothie. Just if it's smooth.").
Also how are the Wombats playing the UEA?!?! They haven't released anything in about 3 years.

I am currently listening to BIG TROUBLES for the first time and think I am in love.

People on who are not afraid of derivative indiepop and like me are fellow PAINS and GIRLS obsessives should check them out. (So basically Bitte Orca and BeeRose)

This is sounding pretty ace Maddix, Freudian Slips is a great track, to be honest there wasn't really any chance I wouldn't like this band. Nice one.

I am currently listening to a very annoying and quite bad Polish radio station.  Their website promises some fairly cool DJs (and Pete Tong) but I'm assuming they save those shows for primetime because the daytime choice of 'toons' is shockingly naff.
 
I'm only listening because they're supposed to be playing an interview they did with my girlfriend the other day, but so far I've had 2 hours of cheesy house and no cute, intelligent, red-headed film expert.  Grrr.

finally, after 4 long weeks, managed to fix my main CD player...not sure how i did it, spit and cellotape i think...still JOY !!

to celebrate this monumental event am giving Thomas' mix another listen, on some good speakers. etc...going to post a review later...quake Thomas quake

Bit disappointed with the HURTS album on first listen. Bit stodgy, too many ballads, only the singles have noticeable tunes. 

Has anyone done that audiobook thing on spotify to do with HURTS?
