Should definitely headline a future Latitude, fast becoming one of my heroes. What a guy.

Come on, there is no way you are ever going to lose your edge to a bozo who picks up on bad spelling.

(I was there at the last talking heads tour of UK by the way)

Talking Heads were my favourite band when I was 14 or 15 (back in the early 90s) and I still love them - though only really the first four records(accepting great songs like "Naive Melody" etc"). David Byrne's solo records are a little hit and miss, however. He could fill a lower slot, but I don't think I'd like him to headline the Obelisk now (having produced few good songs in the past decade) - though the 14-year-old Moochoo currently wants to bludgen the incumbent me. He'll only play "Psycho Killer", Heaven" and "Life During War Time"(amazing though they all are) from that early era any way.

Yes, he's easily famous enough, and phenomenally influential, but I don't think headliners should be solely trading on the past. His latest Eno collaboration was okay, though. I would like to see him live again.

I'd love to see David Byrne at Latitude.  I think he'd fit with the general ethos / vibe just perfectly.
