I don't think I've pre-ordered an album in my life, you kids get too much pocket money these days. Actually, on reflection I think I had pre-ordered Use Your Illusion 1&2 about two years before it came out and had gone off rubbish metal in the meantime. On further reflection, I also preordered Wu Tang Forever and it turned out to be not that good. Hope this helps. Anyway, I bought the Little Boots and Juan Maclean albums on Saturday. Haven't listed to them yet. I wanted to buy the God Help the Girl album as well, but it's not out yet, apparently.

Great album that, think I prefer it to the debut. The last musical purchase i made was the 12 " of Passing Clouds- Creation's Happy Reel EP in a charity shop in Norwich for 50p. Members of **** Dress and Fiel Garvie's old band from the early 90s. Oh and I bought the new Pains of Being Pure at Heart 7" in HMV the other day too.

Albums recently purchased. Broken Records - Until the Earth Begins to Part (very good) We Were Promised Jetpacks - S/T (very good debut) Alexi Murdoch - Towards the Sun (Not received it yet, looking forward to it though) Fanfarlo - Reservoir (thanks to the amount of people talking about on here and else were) Elvis Perkins In Dearland - S/T (very good, be good to see them back at latitude this year) Malcolm Middleton - Waxing Gibbous (loved this album) Got a very scottish theme to these, apart from 2.

Slow Club - Let's Fall Back In Love EP Slow Club - Yeah So - Preordered from Moshi Moshi, for a tenner get a special edition copy with a second CD of a some live tracks as well as the album being signed by the band. Alessi's Ark - Notes From The Treehouse - This is a superb little record by comtempories of the london folky scene, think laura marling, Johnny Flynn, Slow Club. Cherbourg - Into The Dark EP - Another band from the same scene as Alessi's Ark which I infact prefer. Has hints of the national in there which I greatly appreciate.

I just bought Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors, and I have to say, it's utterly ace, definitely in my top few albums of the year so far (probably below Animal Collective and the Decemberists, but still fantastic)

ORIGINAL: meal_deal Jason Lytle - Yours truly, the commuter It's almost like gettting a new Grandaddy record Same for me. Very good album, and really good live the other week too. I was a bit worried he was going to go all acoustic and boring so it's good to hear a big Grandaddyish sound. Would have made for a great addition to the Latitude line-up.
