it got announced today, and i noticed (probably not suprisingly) an awful lot of the bands announced are also appearing at latitude. the list for reading/leeds is as follows.... A Day To Remember A Place To Bury Strangers Amazing Baby - playing latitude Atreyu Baddies Bear Hands The Big Pink The Blackout Black Lips Bombay Bicycle Club - playing latitude Bring Me The Horizon Broken Records The Chapman Family Detroit Social Club Fight Like Apes - playing latitude Go Audio Golden Silvers - playing latitude Grammatics Hockey The Hot Rats Jack's Mannequin The Joy Formidable La Roux - rumoured for latitude Lightspeed Champion - dev hynes is at latitude Magistrates Marmaduke Duke Marina And The Diamonds - playing latitude Middle Class Rut Pulled Apart By Horses - playing latitude The Rumble Strips - self confirmed for latitude Skint And Demoralised - playing latitude The Soft Pack Soulsavers Sweethead The Temper Trap - playing latitude Titus Andronicus White Denim so i was thinking maybe we will get some more bands from this list confirmed for latitude in the coming weeks? i for one would be over the moon if we managed to get a place to bury strangers and titus andronicus.

all pretty throwaway acts really, TA would be cool but nothing their I'd be hugely excited for.
calhudson a tactical rub with the tips of the fingers just below the balls usually eradicates shaking of the tent, and makes for a very interesting fap

a place to bury strangers would be mind blowing. though i am probably going to go to the 1,2,3,4 festival in london to see them the weekend after latitude. the fact they are in the country in july does seem promising for latitude though!

He's reading a book cos he's a big pretentious arse, Marmaduke duke would make the festival, or Biffy would make it god like.

i sincerely dont understand why artists do that. not one single person thinks it 'interesting' youre reading from a book, you could atleast play a set aswell you lazy clunge.. o yeah, and maybe Marmaduke Duke for the third spot on sunday???

I'd like to see Hockey get announced for late... They are fab!! Also, I am concerned by the fact that they've got Broken Records for Reading & Leeds but not for us....well not yet!! I think I have some work to do... I saw them last night at ICA, got to speak to a couple of them but not all. They are starting to recognise me now, which is quite coool... I'm off to see them on the last tour date next Weds in Manchester, I've have been reliably informed that there will probably be a party following the gig, I see this as an opportunity to launch 'Operation Get BR to Latitude'... Think I need to do some research...

Hockey are soo bad, and every single member of the band looks like a complete n00b.

Come on Broken Records... I even had a dream last night that their tour manager confirmed them on a forum. How sad.
