I heard these on radio one on Monday night.....i didnt catch who it was at the time but it was one of those bands where you go.....****in hell, whos this? I geeked it up and looked back over the playlists, and there it was 'Local Natives' - Airplanes.
 
Bizarely....they played the live version on Jo brown nose Whileys show today, or was it Edith...i dunno? The songs bloody great though. Im sure they mentioned that they would be joining Bat for Lashes on tour, could be wrong....but it would make sense for them to play if they were.

Oh and I think Maccabees deserve Foals spot from last year. Loved Colour it in and the new song Love you better is good too....but not as good as, I think its called 'A Call for Arms'.....nice progression for them I thought, bloody great in fact.
 
Also.......Big Pink, heard them quite a bit recently...pottering about on the internet. I know nothing about them other than that theyre from London....what I've heard is awesome though.
 
Get them all to play!!! All perfect Latitude material...if there is such a thing, but you know what i mean.

Thom Yorke as well....how good is that going to be!? I guarantee he'll play some radiohead stuff...he knows its what we want!
 
All the slaters must be kicking their heels and twiddling their thumbs right now surely!?

At the moment it looks as if they are going to be on the Sunrise stage on Friday around 6.30. This could all change though.
