Supergrass 31 March 2009 14:36 (permalink)
Supergrass are doing some festivals this year, including a local one near me (Sellindge), doing Latitude would fit their schedule http://www.strangeones.co.uk/tour/index.htm
Think they would fit in and they are great live.
Just a thought

I like the cut of your jib! Supergrass would indeed be awesome. British Sea Power were good last year, be good to have them back. Fleet Foxes could be possibles. I Am Kloot would be good for during the day, and Reef have reformed under a different name - Them Is Me. It'd be wicked to have those guys back!

didnt I am Kloot play last year? I LOVE them. Was it a good set? Such an underrated band.

Is there a chance they could play 2 years in a row?

I Am Kloot were brilliant last year, got a great reception, that man's got a brilliant voice. There was something moody going on between the singer and bass player though, weird comments to eachother over the mic and then they walked off separate sides of the stage. They haven't split though so it must've just been a tiff. Then Seasick Steve came on and pointed at the girl stood next to me to go on stage so he could sing to her, I thought the beardy sexpot was pointing at me!!! Sing to me Steve!! Make me Seasick!! Gravenhurst did a beltin' set last year as well.

oh wow, kloot followed by seasick steve! sensational stuff!

haha that sounds about right. John (the singer) can be a moody old git sometimes  Woebetide you if he spots you talking during his set - he has a very intimidating evil stare!!

Sorry to hear seasick steve didnt pick you....better luck next time. Better practice your seductive wink!

I went and saw Antony and the Johnsons a couple of years ago and it actually said on the tickets and throughout the venue that we couldn't talk at all while he was on stage!! So I flipped him the bird when he walked on, he didn't say **** all about sign language after all.

The Ginger Daylights. I think The Bluetones should turn up and play all of Expecting To Fly like they have been on tour recently. That would be incredible.

Supergrass are one of those bands I always seem to underrate, but when I listen to them I wonder why I don't listen to them more.  I have the same problem with James as well - all their albums are largely good solid albums and i'd be happy to see them at Latitude.
and the man in the driver's seat don't care, with his weird cologne and his magic hair..... it's magic!
