Someone told me today that UB40 were mentioned on local radio (The Beach) as playing at Latitude this year - please say its wrong as I would be seriously thinking of tearing up my ticket and frying it up in an omelette and feeding it to a chicken then killing said chicken and roasting it upon a spit then devouring it with a passion washed down with a litre of vodka and a glacé cherry - Just adding them to the pet shop boys would create hell on earth and as Buffy the vampire slayer isn't around I'd rather pass!!! Whatever next...

They've got some absolute classic songs, great chilled music and they'd fit in really well.  I'm all for it, but don't think it's majorly likely!

if UB40 and Shed Seven both confirm I will almost definitely sell my ticket. Am not impressed.

I heard a rumour that Festival Republic staff throw darts at a picture of my face in the office and are thinking of booking the class bully from my primary school to stand outside my tent so I have to hide inside for the whole weekend. If this is true I will definitely be selling my ticket on eBay.  Sort it out Latitude!

UB40 isn't that massively bad, is it?  Well ok yeah I guess it is.

I'd be more worried though about the special guests below PSBs.  Both Spandau Ballet and Depeche Mode have tickets for a tour going on sale this Friday.   If tickets to one of my gigs were going on sale I'd ensure that any festival I was booked at had me hidden till after the tickets have sold out!  Just a thought that ran threw my mind when I got the email before! :o)

The lead singer left UB40 last year so I doubt they'll raise their ugly synthetic reggae heads.

lol, I have a love hate relationship with depeche mode, I've listend and liked most of there albums, but never had the urge to see them live.  There is little or no excitment there :op  I have no idea why, maybe im just anti-mode! :o\

Anyway since they're touring this year I might get some cheap last min tickets! :o)  Of course unless they play latitude :op

It's bad enough having the mental picture of Melvin looking at the early birds ticket holders and humming to himself "I love you-ooo, you pay my rent"  but if he's singing a dire cover of "I got you, babe" too., well, I may have to sell my ticket. 
 
Will advertise on Saga's website, I'll find plenty of UB40 fans there.
