    It shows how depressed most people are with the current line-up and how low expectations are of the festival's organisers that this UB40 rumour could be given any credence.

      Both Spandau Ballet and Depeche Mode have tickets for a tour going on sale this Friday.  


      If Depeche Mode were to play I would spaff my pants in excitement, they won't but they are quite frankly one of the best live acts I have ever seen, how you can mention them in the same sentence or context as Spandau I just cannot grasp

      lol, I have a love hate relationship with depeche mode, I've listend and liked most of there albums, but never had the urge to see them live.  There is little or no excitment there :op  I have no idea why, maybe im just anti-mode! :o\

      Anyway since they're touring this year I might get some cheap last min tickets! :o)  Of course unless they play latitude :op

       
      I would love ot see Depeche Mode at Latitude - won't happen this year though, as they would clearly be headliners.
      and the man in the driver's seat don't care, with his weird cologne and his magic hair..... it's magic!

        Clearly be headliners?! I'm 29 years old and I don't even really know who they are... I think my Mum used to like them.  But hey she's nearly sixty now...

          If you're 29 and you don't know who Depeche Mode are then you haven't been paying attention.  They're probably still one of the biggest bands in the world and were arguably more popular  in the nineties, rather than with their eighties pop stuff.

            i cant say depeche mode are my sort of thing really, but surely everybody has heard and sung along to enjoy the silence at some point!

                I'm pretty sure that people say they don't like The Pet Shop Boys and UB40 because they are both completely irrelevant to this day and age...
