Scored a cheap ticket for Kaiser Chiefs tonight @ UEA from eBay.
Obviously I wasn't going for Kaisers as they are rubbish and I left before they even came on. The reason I went was because I am obsessed with ALL THE YOUNG who were one of the support acts.
They were mindblowing 10/10

Just been informed that The La's have a gig/gigs coming up. But the only one I know about is in NYC so I won't be going. Support by Dutch Uncles, Outfit, and Warsaw's finest, Paula i Karol. Interesting.
I'll probably go to see Zola Jesus in a week or 2, I think I heard them once and I think I liked it (I'm obviously not a committed fan or owt), but it's cheap and it's at my new fave venue, so why not.
dUES soon too.

tUnE-yArDs was one of the greatest live performances I've ever seen. shame the support, Trailer Trash Tracys, were as boring as they had been last time i saw them support a great band (Real Estate - and, well Twin Sister).

Did anyone else get tickets for the Olympic Closing ceremony concert in Hyde Park? I know there will be anti olympic/ anti corporate moans, but Blur, Specials and New Order is a great line up.
PS- I am taking my daughter to see FATM next week. Just thought I'd throw that in cos I know how popular she Florence is with the Latitude forum regulars.
I'm seriously uncool and I don't care!
