With Benicassim, Hard Rock Calling and now apparently Phoenix all scheduled for the same weekend as Latitude, is anyone worried that Latitude will have to make do with "left-overs" to fill its main music slots?

Could it actually be a benefit. Phoenix and Benicassim are both Vince Power shows so their line-ups could be similar, but could we get some of the HRC undercard bands on the Latitude line-up. I've read it could be a good year for American bands due to the exchange rate.

in the year end edition of the Wire i noticed a couple of the writers said their highlight of the year was helping curate the modern art stuff at the Latitude Festival. perhaps they could extend this curation to the music and get a load of cool improv/footwork/audiotextural analysis of the limitations of memory/Noise along

When they played in 09', they were bloody fantastic!
One of the best bands of the weekend actually IMO. 

But then, I thought Mika was also one of the best acts of the weekend so, yunno.

while it is true the old Phoenix festival was held around the same time
as what latitude is held now Vince has not stated any dates so there is no evidence that the Phoenix festival will clash.
