I don't think there is a best Cure album for me, really, as it's so dependent on mood. My favourite is possibly 'Faith' for example, but I hope to hell I'm not in the mood to listen to it anytime soon. However I listened to KissMe KissMe KissMe on Monday.

Yeah, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me is the one I listen to the most, possibly because it's one of the few I've got on CD so I can still listen to it, or just possibly because it's great... especially the opening track. I'd venture to say it was their last great album?

Not with you there I'm afraid Roger -- 'Disintegration' (1989) is essential stuff at some point in everyone's life (possibly) and a massive inspiration to many modern bands. (Also, actually, although it isn't a 'great', if you like 'Pornography', you should give 'Bloodflowers' a go.)

Actually I do remember really liking Disintegration at the time too. I remember thinking for a 'new' Cure album it sounded as good as their older stuff. But as I've only got in on vinyl - and I've had no way to listen to vinyl for donkey's years - I haven't heard it in an age. I should consult the missus's database of downloads, I'm sure she'll have it. Ta for the reminder!
