Hi Guys, Ive been to Latitude for 4 years now and have been to many festivals, I love reading the forum (although never posted before) it brings up good debates and over the last few years ahas pushed through so good changes. The toilets and new bridge this year 100% improved the festival.

So my point i wanna make is, did anyone here actually enjoy the festival? The only people who seem to have posted are people who want to complain about the water, the kids, the bag organisation, the weather and so on. I hate seeing the 16 years old kids PRAT about during the day but its no different to what you see everywhere else.... what do you expect from a festival. Latitude is by far the most exsessable festival i have ever been to as it caters for all ages and all types. The line up was great as it crossed all boundries and you could find something for everyone.

My highlights where Kele, Paolo (i would of never guessed i would ever say this), my morning jacket, Buzzcocks, Saul Williams and The NAtional.
It was a great festival and I cannot wait till next year. Cheer up guys, life could be worse.

Everyone who enjoyed it has posted in maddix's thread. People who just moan always start new threads cos they're more important than everyone else, which is why it looks like everyone's moaning. I had a jolly good time.

People starting threads regarding your discrepancies, i do understand but, get in touch with the festival, we don't want to hear you moaning b*stards when we all know this year was incredible, and i really do mean it.

Had a wonderful time and thought all staff and improvements were great. Really excellent all round - wasn't even that bothered by the rain. More another time.

I did actually start a Positives and Negatives thread too. Feel a bit bad now, though one of my most scathing negatives was that the 2011 Eco Cup was an awful design.

First Latitude, enjoyed myself immensely!
 
I thought the mud was great, haha. It's not a real festival until it rains.

We loved it, my 3rd year and I think that if the rain had not rained it would have been perfection.
 
Particularly admired the way that most people can walk around with a pint while sliding on mud, dealing with small kids, holding umbrellas etc and still not spill any! True British spirit.
 
I'm in my 40s and I found the rudest people to be about the same age group so can't understand the moans about the teenagers. Ah well...bring on 2012 *sigh*

but no there was mud and the teenagers were loud how can you enjoy it

I love being british - i love latitude  and waterproof trousers rock!!

Absolutely loved it! 
Still don't like Alpro though - give me a proper fry-up any day.

Was my 5th Latitude and I probably enjoyed this year's more than any before. the mud only added to my enjoyment, although being almost 18stone means I sink deeper than most. Thanks to all for an enjoyable weekend. See you next year

Have been every year and this the first time it got muddy,did not spoil my weekend suprised no one has metioned Mr Bee the gentleman rimer he was brilliant.

My first Lat, and one of (if not the) best weekends of my life. Loved just about every minute of it, and I'll definitely be attending in the future!
