Are guest passes transferable?

Hi,
 
A friend of mine is performing at the festival this year and has given me a guest ticket. It says on the back however that they are not transferable, and you need to bring photo ID. The names she gave when she applied would have been different so I am a bit worried that I will be refused entry.... does anyone have experience of this?
