Hey, I was just wondering what the campsite shops sold, is it pretty much everything, or just food?

Last year the shop was dreadful. I have seen better stocked shops in Third World shanty towns. Hardly any fruit apart from a few over priced punnets of sad looking strawberries. Yet on my journey to Suffolk I saw many lorries laden with fruit. One day they even ran out of water !! Must do a lot better this year, last years shop keeper should be relegated to an ice-cream van this year.

Running out of water is bad but if I can't get a cornetto when I want one... there will be trouble.
It's quite interesting, you know, the number of biscuits that are named after revolutionaries. You've got your Garibaldi, of course, you've got your Bourbons, then of course you've got your Peek Frean's Trotsky Assortment.

Do NOT rely on the shop for food. Massive queues at any reasonable time of day (unless FR have lsitened to last year's winges and actyually acted accordingoly that is).

The shop is fine for essentials. Beware though, they let it run down towards the end of the weekend for obvious reasons.. they don't want to be left with stuff, so don't expect to get much sunday evening.
