First Time Camping 08 July 2011 12:00 (permalink)
Hey, it's my first time at Latitude (but not at a festival) and was just wanting to know where would be best to camp. We were wanting somwhere quiet but not too quiet and fairly spacious (too picky?). Went to V last year (first festival so don't judge me) and don't to be around alot of the people there (ie shouty and 'ladish' people). Line ups great and really looking forward to it despite major clashes. Thanks :)

The further away you are from the arena entrance, the quieter it is. That's it, really.

    Here's the map

Yeah. Go yellow if you don't want to much sleep, or don't mind it, Red is much better and quieter, and then the rest are just for people who want quieter than quiet.

been to V many times and there is no comparison, V is full of inconsiderate people( we had a guy playing and banging a guitar in the next tent until 6 am one year). Latitude is far more spacious, even in yellow and you should find it easy to find a comfortable spot.

as fiveuke said, if you want a less 'v' experience then go to green or red.it's less crowded and the map indicates a 'quiet camping' area. doubt that'll be guaranteed, though!
