Thought I wasn't going after all for ages but now I definitely am going so I need to do a shop too. Biscuits, rice krispie squares bars, wine, fruit. Big bottle of squash. Other treats as they occur to me.

i'm a massive lightweight and will probably mostly buy watery tuborg and hektors all weekend anyway.
and obviously a whole bottle of red wine which me and damaris will consume together between the stars as we await the national

Yeah I don't take half as much alcohol to festivals as I used to.
Smuggling in stuff and keep on going back to the tents is a pain.
Nowadays I just take enough for a bit at the tents each morning before going into the arena and then just admit I'm going to have to spend a fair bit in there but at least it will be cold and fresh.

I'm not bothering with booze this year. If the arena is open, there is no chance I would ever want to be in the campsite so it's just pointless and end up taking warm beer home. I've never understood when people are sitting around in circles drinking warm booze at their tents - is this before 11am or after 3am?
