The mid 00s era of them all are probably my favourite, I think it's the post Juno (a film I did like a lot) world that has been a lot worse. Stuff like 500 Days of Summer were really poor I thought.

Any of you guys into the mumblecore genre? Some really cool stuff there, especially by the Duplass brothers. Check out THE PUFFY CHAIR, it's LOVELY.

I am! But I haven't seen that many of them due to the fact they don't appear in my local HMV or on torrents very much.
I loved Mutual Appreciation, probably the hipsterest film ever made.
This is relevant to my interests.

dont really go to the cinemas very much, our local multiplex shows filums fit for only 9 year olds, and the closest art house is in the center of manchester, and too cool for the likes of me and mrs hoppo...so i have to watch films off the telly, which means i dont watch very many at all...
but saw a cracker the other day. In Bruges it was called, a kind of black comedy, but bleaker than the bleakest bits of Samuel Beckett...still laugh out loud funny though.
I'm so sick of Snow Patrol,
and where to find Esso lubricant & mobile numbers.

I've still not gotten round to watching In Bruges despite wanting to and hearing from loads of people that it is brilliant and it being on tv the other day and it being dead cheap in all the shops for the past year.

          Even better post, that.

brilliant is a strong and over used word, but it is pretty good, in bruges that is, not the word brilliant...but try and see it mr maddix, because apart from keeping me glued to the screen for 90 or so minutes, it really made me want to visit Bruges, which is something i have never thought about before...Belgium...whats that

Watched TSATW today, really enjoyed it, I thought the characters had a lot of depth and although the plot was quite understated it kept my attention throughout. Soundtrack worked well too. Will probably keep an eye out for the film in HMV etc, maybe when I hit up N-town this weekend.

I was thinking of heading over to Norwich as well sometime in the next week. Could you wait until Monday (unless you're with a load of mates)?

Man On Wire is on the Discovery Channel tonight. It's good, you should watch it. I got a free rental with some Magic Stars so I'll probably get Four Lions out tomorrow as well.

I'm watching A Knight's Tale and Heath Ledger has just ridden a horse into a church.

Maybes g-land, maybes, Norwich is a mission for me though. I'm up for the weekend with relatives and I'll be going home on Monday, I could take a detour into the town centre if it was for a LATITUDE FORUM MEET UP though.

Sadly not in Jersey I already checked. I am thinking about starting my own up but again venues are a nightmare here and I don’t know if there will be much interest. In an island 9x5 people aren’t that open to new things
Got a few friends in the mainland and I do really want to go over to check a real game out before really starting something anyway. At the moment I'm still trying to master skating backwards...
