Not sure why the awkward Orca doesn't illustrate his enthusiasm for this faltering thread by reviewing Hoppo's highly pleasing song, nor why Nico and the gang have left everyone's favourite pensioner destitute either.
 
Anyway, if she can rise to the challenge, phht needs to prove her credentials by recommending a sure-water hit of a song. Let's win back those doubters.

I have been meaning to catch up on this esteemed thread. I had a lot to say and apologise for about Thomas's track all those months ago, but I haven't got around to it. I have to admit, what with listening and compiling to the Swap CDs, scouring the nation for badges that might possibly cause Moochoo not to tut and watching a lot of television, my forum commitments have been more than somewhat stretched. Also, I thought hoppo's song was a bit 'meh' but I probably just wasn't in the mood. I will try to have a catch up.
 
Anyway phht, Moochoo and subsequent recommenders will be beside themselves with glee to learn that I promise to comment on all future suggestions as they come in.

To be honest I was just overwhelmed. You had mentioned The Country Teasers in a fairly dismissive way on another thread - it is, or seemed, a rubbish name -  and I even used them in a pretend list. I'd never heard of them, ever.

Then it was this awesome, massive thing, like an alt or post-rock country Fall but not terrible and with incredible lyrics and Moochoo listened to 8531 of their tracks in one week and I've been meaning to do the same and come back and say about it but never did. So that's why.
