fiveuke ...but what about Mr Tumble? Just kidding. :) What about Morrissey and Mr Tumble, in the Woods, recreating that scene from Ghost as Grayson Perry (in his best frock) teaches them how to throw a pot. It's got entertainment written all over it.

Glad to see all the major issues for last year have been addressed. We already have our tickets for this year and looking forward to it but I have more confidence that it will be a more enjoyable experience looking at this q&a. I think moving a couple of stages, bigger poetry/lit tents and a second bridge will make a big difference to the whole vibe as the capacity is staying the same. Also good to see that some consideration may be given to the booking of headline acts and the fans they will bring. I would love to see a few more nostalgia acts for the older generation.

annie Strasvegas Melvin thanks for a great weekend, first latitude, camped in the family campsite so had a great relaxed time and enjoyed the great variety of line up. THANKS STRASVEGAS. THAT'S VERY NICE TO KNOW. Came to latitude after 6 years attending Reading hoping to avoid some of the problems that seem to have migrated to Latitude this time. would you consider the following: an increase in ticket prices specificaly earmarked for increased security for 2011 and announced when tickets go on sale YES You have smarter people than me to do the maths but an extra 2.00 GBP would give you an extra 40 000 GBP (if 20 000 people pay ?) which i'm sure could buy you a whole lot of people to do shifts from 22.00 to 04.00 in the camps and arena I AGREE BUT I SUSPECT YOUR MATHS ARE AT LEAST AS GOOD AS MINE! I think it would be a bit of a shame to try and mould the line up to fit an older demographic as a lot of people come with their teenage children (we brought our 15 year old and she loved it - and might not have come and experienced the ballet, opera, poetry and theatre if florence had not been headlining). Slightly more security might just calm people down and educate certain people that you can have a good time at festivals without being reckless and anti-social. I TOTALLY AGREE. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY THE INTENTION. Two other questions could you please try and "poach" Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher) from Camp Bestival as my 3 year old son would love to see him at Latitude next year. CRIKEY I AM OUT OF TOUCH. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM! could you try and get Morrissey to headline next year WHAT A GREAT IDEA. I DON'T THINK HE IS AROUND BUT A GREAT IDEA NONE THE LESS I can confirm that Morrissey is not doing any festivals this year and will not be at Latitude. Morrissey has just been announced for Hop Farm Festival!!

the following acts have all been announced for the hop farm festival: the eagles bryan ferry death cab for cutie 10cc brandon flowers i know it's easy to get confused when you have a line-up which is so chock-a-block with dullness but i'm fairly sure none of those are morrissey.

That is the Friday lineup you have posted Grouch. The Saturday lineup was revealed in all of the initial news stories but then deleted soon after (they obviously wern't meant to release it just yet) but it consisted of.. Morrissey Lou Reed Iggy Pop

hmmm.... its pretty stange that a line up that seems so squarely aimed at 'grown-ups' is in term time... one for the london weekend crowd.

googlewhack I would love to see a few more nostalgia acts for the older generation. I'm going to disagree. I think one per festival is enough and if true, and they're one of the headliners, I'm including Ser-waayde in that statement. I like pottering around experiencing and learning new stuff and don't wanna have to listen to guff I know inside out already.

Its a way for new bands to attract attention really well.
